What is Building Hope?

A community services hub facility in the heart of downtown Orillia.

Building Hope will serve Orillia's vulnerable, offering a range of housing as well as emergency food and shelter, primary care, mental health and addiction services for people who are experiencing a housing crisis.

Building Hope is promoting overall wellness for individuals and families.

What will be offered?

Phase 1 - Government Funding - breaking ground in spring 2019

  • Supportive Housing - 20 Supportive Housing Units

Phase 2 - Capital Campaign 

  • Emergency Shelter - 40 emergency beds for men, women, youth and families

  • Soup Kitchen

  • CMHA - Safe Beds

  • Wrap around supports such as Addictions counselling, Mental health counselling, life skills traiing, spiritual support

Phase 3 - Future Private Developer

  • Affordable Housing
