What is Building Hope?

A community services hub facility in the heart of downtown Orillia

Building Hope will serve Orillia's vulnerable, offering a range of housing as well as emergency food and shelter, primary care, mental health and addiction services for people who are experiencing a housing crisis.

Building Hope is promoting overall wellness for individuals and families.   


What will be offered?

The Lighthouse:

  • Emergency Shelter; men, women, youth (age 16 - 24) and families
  • Soup Kitchen/Community Kitchen
  • Short Term Supportive Housing

Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) :

  • Safe Beds
  • Mental and Addiction Counselling
