Canada's (unoffical) Walk for Homelessness!

The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is a super-fun, family-friendly 2k, 5k or 10k walk fundraiser that raises awareness money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in 100+ communities across Canada.
Since 2014, The Lighthouse has raised $260,000+ through CNOY, bringing together hundreds of community members walking and volunteering for those experiencing homelessness in our own community of Orillia.
2014 - 25 Teams raising $21,943.55
2015 - 42 Teams raising $40,986.45
2016 - 58 Teams raising $97,890.11
2017 - 63 Teams raising $103,464.65!!!

The goal of Golf Classic is to assist local men, women and children that need our support.
In 2016, The Lighthouse Soup Kitchen and Shelter and Couchiching Jubilee House joined forces to hold the fantastic golf event.

ride for refuge
We believe riding bikes (& walking walks) can change the world.

The Ride for Refuge is a family-friendly cycling (10k, 25k or 50k) and walking (5k) fundraiser that helps charities raise money for displaced, vulnerable and exploited people around the world.
6 local charities together are joined together at this fantastic event:
Couchiching Jubilee House
