Supportive Housing

Long-term housing that builds hope into the lives of people experiencing chronic homelessness with compassion, understanding and dignity. Supportive housing gives the gift of time. Time to find hope, a real home and a future.

Stepping in during crisis.

For a person experiencing homelessness, The Lighthouse offers a range of housing as well as emergency food and shelter, primary care, mental health and addiction services, and spiritual support for people who are experiencing a housing crisis.

Nina's Story

After suffering an incident that stopped her from being able to get up the flights of stairs to her home, Nina found herself in a position she never imagined: homeless. “That was extremely scary.” Nina described the season as difficult time but tears reflected the light in her eye as she talked about how The Lighthouse helped her develop a future when she thought she didn’t have one.

John's Story

John spent over three years and hundreds of thousands of dollars on a cocaine addiction and was eventually – in his words – the walking dead. He came across The Lighthouse and found refuge. “It started out as just a place to stay out of the rain and read” but it grew to something much more meaningful. Hopeful.

Sheila's Story

Sheila was homeless for a year and when she found The Lighthouse.

“I found hope here,” she remembered.

Sheila was able to get the resources and support she needed to find housing to call home.

You can give hope,
home and a future.
