You can make a difference in the lives of youth experiencing emergency situations. When they have nowhere else to go, you can give them one. Through the emergency youth shelter, dedicated wing and specific community services, we serve our communities youth and give them a future to look forward to.
Youth Outreach
The Youth Outreach program focuses on reaching at-risk youth in the community, offering essential support and resources to those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. By utilizing a dedicated vehicle, the Youth Outreach team actively engages with youth throughout Orillia and the surrounding area. They provide crucial items like hygiene products and snacks while connecting youth to services like housing, counseling, educational support, and employment opportunities. This mobile approach addresses socio-economic and geographic barriers, ensuring that support reaches marginalized populations. The program fosters inclusivity, providing culturally sensitive and accessible services for youth of all gender identities, abilities, and racial backgrounds. Through proactive outreach, our team connects with local schools to begin prevention efforts by identifying at-risk youth early, offering tailored support, and addressing challenges before they escalate. The program seeks to empower youth and offer the resources needed for personal development and long-term stability.

From there, we can help them discover a holistic path out of emergency and into a brighter future.
Separate, Secure Wing
Our separate youth wing provides a safe and secure environment where youth can find shelter independent from the rest of the facility.
