Fundraiser taking place Sept. 19 at Hawk Ridge Golf Club
The Lighthouse is proud to announce the return of its annual Fall Classic Golf Tournament, happening on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at the stunning Hawk Ridge Golf Club.
This community-loved event promises an unforgettable day of golf, food, fun, and philanthropy while raising vital funds to support individuals experiencing homelessness.
Golfers will enjoy a full round of golf with cart, lunch and a delicious roast beef dinner, on-course games like putting contests, longest drive, and closest to the pin competitions, plus a 50/50 draw and exciting auction. And the best part? Every golfer goes home with a prize.
Proceeds from the event will support The Lighthouse, a beacon of hope in Orillia for more than 30 years. With 50 emergency shelter beds for men and women, eight beds for youth, and 20 supportive housing units, The Lighthouse provides not only shelter but also critical services including outreach programs, a winter warming centre, daily meals, and access to medical and mental health supports. Every swing, sponsor, and donation helps people in our community move toward stability, health, and housing.
